Why does God allow suffering" Does science conflict with the bible? Jer 29:11 Amplified Bible The headlines herald... "War in the Middle East" This causes us to think about the end of the world and Armageddon. It should! Jesus is coming soon. He said there would be wars and rumors of wars. He said nation shall rise against nation. He said when they say peace and safety then shall the end come. There will be chaos and then it will seem like world peace is about to blossom. People everywhere are talking about the thousand years of peace upon the earth that is soon to come. Never mind that the millennium is not going to be on earth but in heaven. Don't confuse them with the facts. Protestants have preached the Secret Rapture and an earthly millennium so long, people think it will happen. Well, it won't! Christ's coming will not be a secret! Every Eye shall see him! (Revelation 1:9). The millennium will not be on the earth, but in heaven. See Jeremiah 4; Isaiah 24; Revelation 19. and 1 Thessalonians 4. Christ will come, and take them to heaven to be where He is now. See John 14. They will go up into the clouds, back to heaven and live in the New Jerusalem for 1000 years. Then come back down in the New Jerusalem, land on the earth, raise, judge, and destroy the wicked (see Revelation 20) and Create a New Heavens and Earth (1 Peter 3; Isaiah 66: 22, 23) where sin will dwell no more. All will be pure, holy and beautiful. See Revelation 21 and 22. The Bible is very clear that when Jesus comes back, His feet never touch the ground. It says the righteous will be caught up to meet Him in the air. This is why Jesus emphatically warns us, "Therefore if they say to you, 'Look, He is in the desert do not go out; "Look He is in the inner rooms!' do not believe it. For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be" * Matthew 24:26, 27 NKJV * "And then this: We can tell you with complete confidence -we have the Master's word on it - that when the Master comes again to get us, those of us who are still alive will not get a jump on the dead and leave them behind. In actual fact, they'll be ahead of us. The Master himself will give the command. Archangel thunder! God's trumpet blast! He'll come down from heaven and the dead in Christ will rise - they will go first. Then the rest of us who are still alive at the time will be caught up with them into the clouds to meet the Master. Oh, we'll be walking on air! And then there will be one huge family reunion with the Master. One man will prepare a book for publication, and after it is in circulation, someone else will think that he can publish a book similar in appearance and covering nearly the same ground as the first book placed on the market. The writer of this second book will use different words, but will treat of the same subjects that are treated of in the other book. Thus two different books will be in existence when one would have been all-sufficient. There will be instances when even before the author writes the book that he contemplates publishing, someone else will write on the very same subjects in order to forestall the one who has expressed his purpose to write on certain subjects. The second book published diminishes the sale of the first one, and he who takes advantage of his neighbor in this way does not treat him fairly. His book largely takes the place and the patronage of the first book in the field. He has worked contrary to the principles of righteousness, for he has robbed his neighbor.--MS 23, 1891. {PM 213.2} Costly Illustrations and Long Delays.--Our books are being filled with expensive pictures, and this makes them too costly to give away, and too costly for those persons to buy who need them most. The matter of illustrating is being carried to extremes. The extra money put into the cover of a book, or into pictures, will not convert the soul to the truths that are contained in the book. That so much space should be occupied with pictures is not in the order of God. Jesus clearly taught that He had come to transfer the attention away from a physical building of worship to something greater: His body, the church. John 2:19-21"Jesus answered and said, Destroy this temple (meaning His body) and in 3 days I (will) raise it up. Then said the Jews, 46 years was this temple in building, and you will rear it up in 3 days? But He spoke of the temple of His body." Pages 20-21 Sadly even after God provides all this clear biblical evidence that His temple today is a spiritual one, the church, many Christians are waiting for the Jews to rebuild a physical temple on the site where the mosque of Omar (Dome of the Rock) now (sets) also known as The temple Mount. Yet, there is no prophecy, promise, or commandment in the Bible that says the temple would be rebuilt again after the Romans destroyed it. Though it might be rebuilt, Jesus' prophecy that not one stone would (set) upon another seems to be of extreme final tone.
