The Headlines Herald... "War in the Middle East"

This causes us to think about the end of the world and Armageddon. It should! Jesus is coming soon. He said there would be wars and rumors of wars. He said nation shall rise against nation. He said when they say peace and safety then shall the end come. There will be chaos and then it will seem like world peace is about to blossom.

People everywhere are talking about the thousand years of peace upon the earth that is soon to come. Never mind that the millennium is not going to be on earth but in heaven.

Don't confuse them with the facts.

Protestants have preached the Secret Rapture and an earthly millennium so long, people think it will happen. Well, it won't! Christ's coming will not be a secret! Every Eye shall see him! (Revelation 1:9). The millennium will not be on the earth, but in heaven. See Jeremiah 4; Isaiah 24; Revelation 19 and 1 Thessalonians 4.

Christ will come, and take them to heaven to be where He is now. See John 14. They will go up into the clouds, back to heaven and live in the New Jerusalem for 1000 years. Then come back down in the New Jerusalem, land on the earth, raise, judge, and destroy the wicked (see Revelation 20) and Create a New Heavens and Earth (1 Peter 3; Isaiah 66: 22, 23) where sin will dwell no more. All will be pure, holy and beautiful. See Revelation 21 and 22.

The Bible is very clear that when Jesus comes back.

His feet never touch the ground. It says the righteous will be caught up to meet Him in the air. This is why Jesus emphatically warns us, "Therefore if they say to you, 'Look, He is in the desert do not go out; "Look He is in the inner rooms!' do not believe it. For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be" Matthew 24:26, 27 NKJV

"And then this: We can tell you with complete confidence - we have the Master's word on it - that when the Master comes again to get us, those of us who are still alive will not get a jump on the dead and leave them behind. In actual fact, they'll be ahead of us. The Master himself will give the command. Archangel thunder! God's trumpet blast! He'll come down from heaven and the dead in Christ will rise - they will go first. Then the rest of us who are still alive at the time will be caught up with them into the clouds to meet the Master. Oh, we'll be walking on air! And then there will be one huge family reunion with the Master. So reassure one another with these words." 1 Thessalonians 4:17 Message Bible.

In fact, God warned that Satan would do such a convincing job, that if it were possible, even the very elect would be deceived. Jesus said to His disciples,*

"Then if any one may say to you, Lo, here [is] the Christ! or here! ye may not believe; for there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and they shall give great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, also the chosen." (Matthew 24:23,24 Young's Literal Translation)
