A Message From Pastor Tom Hughes...

Thank you for stopping by to check out our web site! This site is the result of some dedicated friends who have helped to get the message of our church out to the world, at great personal cost. God has given me a message to preach for the last thirty years that can be summed up in three words, Christ Our Righteousness! Jesus is the love of my life and his perfect life, death and resurrection are the gospel that I preach. He is our only hope, and our only path to true happiness.

Whether preaching in the local church, or carrying the gospel to the lost in ministries like the Christian Motorcyclist Association, my ministry is dedicated to introducing people of all walks of life to the most wonderful being in the universe, The Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world.

 

You will find many subjects addressed on this website. All of them have a golden thread that leads back to this one central theme: salvation by faith alone!

As a Seventh-day Adventist Minister, many of the issues addressed will be relevant to the ongoing quest for truth in that denomination, but all of them will be "meat in due season" to Christians, or non-Christians who are searching for a deeper spiritual life. Christ is the reason I preach. He is what gives my life meaning. He alone is capable of satisfying my soul. My passion for Jesus fuels everything I do. As you read, meditate and pray on these grand subjects, may the King of Kings reveal himself to you through his Holy Spirit is my prayer, in Jesus name. Amen!

God needs men who are willing to take a stand for what's right, and resist the evil tide that is constantly pushing against them today. This world does not value men of courage, conviction and spirituality. One of my favorite authors said it this way...

..."The greatest want of the world is the want of men,--men who will not be bought or sold; men who in their inmost souls are true and honest; men who do not fear to call sin by its right name; men whose conscience is as true to duty as the needle to the pole; men who will stand for the right though the heavens fall". Education, p. 57. (1903)
