Clar will teach from her own personal journey. Her unpacking of Jesus’ directives for our lives is practical, and easily understood. You will be challenged to really think, feel and come to terms with who you really are, what you really care about and how powerful Jesus' love for you is!

You deserve to experience all the goodness of Jesus in your life today---that is your birthright. A friend pointed out to me that there are two selves in my life--the real me, and the false me. I’ve made a decision to be the real me today. The me that matters to God and can do all things and has enough love inside to manage any situation with grace. It’s our decision.

Clar was born in the Northwest United States, but at the age of four went to Africa with her missionary parents. She grew up in Zambia and Zimbabwe, learning at an early age how God works in amazing ways when people are open to His leading.

After graduating from Andrews University with a B.S. in communications, Clar began to sense a strong call to ministry, and in 1994 she entered the seminary with a passion to help believers in their personal relationships and the personal calling on their lives. For the past almost nine years she has pastored in the Oregon Conference, and again, as in her childhood, had countless opportunities to witness God’s power through prayer and service.

In the fall of 2005, Clar transitioned out of pastoring to focus on developing her writing and musical gifts. Her whole-hearted desire, is to leverage all her time and talents to bring renewal to the local church by casting vision and preparing people to lead.
